Making every effort to attract international tourists back to Vietnam, after a long period of being affected by the pandemic, from the end of November 2021, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) launched the media campaign “Live fully in Vietnam”.

This is the integrated media marketing campaign associated with the national brand identity of Vietnam – Timeless Charm on digital platforms and the social networks of VNAT, on international media channels, via Vietnamese representative agencies abroad, etc. to provide official and updated information about tourism in Vietnam.

With the successful implementation of the Live fully in Vietnam campaign, it has an important contribution to the positive effects of the Pilot Plan to welcome international tourists with ‘vaccine passports’.

After more than three months of implementation, the Live fully in Vietnam campaign has received high praise from businesses, localities as well as domestic and international media. The campaign has contributed to attracting more than 10,000 international tourist arrivals under the pilot plan (by the end of February 2022) and the number of search volume for Vietnam tourism skyrocketed, especially, in February 2022, was recorded as 4 times higher than the same period in 2021. In particular, the campaign made an impression with a beautiful video depicting the brilliant, lively and attentive tourism services in Vietnam, touching the hearts of viewers, inspiring and making visitors eager to “live fully” in Vietnam.

The media campaign “Live fully in Vietnam” has been implemented with the advice of RSVP Joint Stock Company. Mr. Ha Van Sieu, VNAT’s Vice Chairman said: “By choosing RSVP as a consultant, I hope that with the thorough understanding of Vietnam tourism, RSVP will become a reliable companion in the task of image, culture and beauty communication of the country and Vietnamese people to international friends, contributing to improving the brand and competitiveness of Vietnam tourism in the region and in the world”.

Mrs. Abby Antonio, Managing Director of RSVP Joint Stock Company shared her thoughts: “It is such an honor to become the communication consultant of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism as well as contribute to the recovery of Vietnam tourism. In the past time, the RSVP team has spent much enthusiasm and creativity supporting VNAT to bring impressive images of Vietnam to visitors. With our professional background and achievements in the field of communication, we believe that we will handle the responsibilities assigned by VNAT perfectly, contributing to the recovery and development of Vietnam tourism in the near future”.

Previously, the Vietnam Government agreed with the proposal of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to fully resume tourism activities from 15th March 2022. In the upcoming time, VNAT will fiercely uphold the media campaign Live fully in Vietnam to promote the image of Vietnam as a safe, attractive, friendly destination, attracting international tourists back to Vietnam, creating a driving force for the tourism industry to recover its growth momentum.

In 2022, Vietnam’s tourism industry has set the ambitious goal of welcoming 65 million visitor arrivals, including 5 million international visitors, with total tourism receipts reaching about VND400 trillion. To facilitate the realization of this goal, VNAT (Vietnam National Administration of Tourism) will closely coordinate with localities and businesses to step up promotion activities, preparing to welcome the anticipated wave of tourism returning this year. Engaging the expertise of a reputable Vietnam tour company can significantly contribute to the success of this endeavor, ensuring a well-organized and enjoyable experience for both domestic and international visitors.
