Moreover, you can also easily catch a glimpse of fire-ringed busts of Thich Quang Duc and six Buddhist monks who died in the late 1950s when fighting against the corrupt Diem regime. This white Buddha image is located behind the temple, which may take your around 152 steps to lead to that 24-meter Buddha. Stand at the platform of the Buddha base, you can have a panoramic view of the whole landscape as well as the nearby areas.
