Following breakfast, explore the area around Phan Rang town, visiting a group of Cham towers known as Po Klong Garai. Dating from the end of the 13th century these four brick towers, built as Hindu temples, are just a few of the many towers dotted about the countryside in this area. Visit Bau Truc pottery village, believed to be the oldest in South East Asia and the Champa weaving village of My Nghiep. Lunch will be at a local restaurant.
After lunch, drive to Nui Chua National Park. Spread across more than 29,000 hectares, the park is home to thousands of plant species and hundreds of types of mammals and birds. Take a short hike to discover some of the wide variety of ecosystems in the park, which range from tropical dry forest to verdant ravines, before continuing to a stretch of the region’s 40KM long beach. Here you have the opportunity to relax on the beach or take a trip by glass-bottomed boat to explore the diverse varieties of colorful corals below the water’s surface.
