Full Itinerary

4-Day South Vietnam Tour

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City Arrival (D)

Welcome to Saigon! Our tour guide will transfer you to the hotel. After lunch, visit Thien Hau Pagoda and Binh Tay Market in the cities bustling Chinatown and end at a famous lacquer ware factory. Dinner will feature delicious Saigon cuisine.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City – Tay Ninh – Cu Chi Tunnels – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)

In the morning, drive through typical southern Vietnamese countryside to Tay Ninh Province, the birthplace of Caodaism. Caodaism is not the popular religion in Vietnam but it is a typical one in the number of Vietnamese.

After lunch, go to the legendary Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground network constructed by the local people and guerillas, where we understand more about the Vietnam War through historical artifacts. Then head back to Saigon.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta – Can Tho (B, L,D)

In the morning, depart from Saigon and head to My Hiep. Take a 3-hour boat trip cruising through “Rung Tram” (Indigo forest), which was used by Viet Cong (Southern Vietnam Liberation Army) during the Vietnam War as a base called Xeo Quyt. After that, catch a bus ride to Vinh Long and then Can Tho which are amongst the most popular highlights in the Mekong Delta of South Vietnam.

Day 4: Can Tho – Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh (B, L)

Join the morning boat trip to discover the bustling Cai Rang Floating Market, one of the most colorful floating markets in the South (maybe the biggest floating market in the World). Have lunch in Can Tho and go back to Saigon. On the way, we stop to visit Vinh Long market before heading back to Saigon.

5-Day Cambodia Tour

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh – Fly to Phnom Penh (B, L, D)

Morning is at our leisure until transfer to the Airport for the flight to Phnom Penh (one hour flight). In the afternoon, arrive at Pochentong International Airport and transferred to our hotel. After check-in, participate in the city tour to visit the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda, and the National Museum. Visit the Central and Russian Markets and the Wat Phnom, the oldest monument in the city from which Phnom Penh gets its name.

Day 6: Phnom Penh – Siem Reap (B, L)

After breakfast, catch the early Express Speed Boat from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap across the Tonle Sap Lake. Siem Reap is the ancient capital of Cambodia under the Angkor dynasty, where you can see the enormous architectures in the uniqueness of Angkor.

Upon arrival, we will be met and transferred to Siem Reap for check-in at the hotel before lunch. In the afternoon, explore the ancient city of Angkor Thom: the Bayon Temple, the Baphuan, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King and immerse yourselves in the great view of the sunset over Angkor Wat from the Phnom Bakheng. Dinner at the restaurant where we can enjoy the traditional dance of the Khmer people.

Day 7: Enjoy Siem Reap – Angkor Temples (B)

After breakfast, behold the Ta Prohm temple, Ta Keo temple, Chau Say temples and the natural lake of Sras Srang. These are the unique temples in the Angkor complex.

After lunch, discover the majestic Angkor Wat: The founder was Suryavarman II who reigned Cambodia from 1113 to 1152 and built the five towers in the 12th century and dedicated them to the Hindu God Vishnu.

Day 8: Siem Reap – Banteay Srei – Siem Reap (B, L, D)

After breakfast, reach Banteay Srei Temple “Citadel of Women” which is located 25 km from Siem Reap. Banteay Srei is a 10^th-century Cambodian temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. This temple is built of Nava Rock, presenting the most graceful carvings in stone we might ever see in our life. Then enjoy a picnic lunch near the site and then continue to Kbal Spean, the river of thousand Lingas and the phallic symbol of the God Shiva. Arrive near the site and then walk through the forest for an hour to reach it. Return to Siem Reap.

Day 9: Siem Reap Departure (B)

After breakfast, we will be transferred to the airport for our flight home or continue our adventure routes. The unique 9 days in South Vietnam and Cambodia ends.
