Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Cai Be – An Binh island (L, D)
Your tour starts with 2,5 hours driving through the Mekong Delta to nice town by the river of Cai Be, where we will take our private boat to visit Cai Be Floating Market, joining with local people to buy special fruits or other souvenirs. We then visit some local cottage industries such as the coconut candy workshop, learn how to make pop-rice, or witnessing the process of making rice paper. Continue with our cruise through the maze of canals the criss-cross the An Binh Island, we land at a local house, where we will stay for overnight.
Day 2: An Binh island – Vinh Long – Can Tho (B, L)
After breakfast with the host family, We will get the boat on the river for a cruise along some small canals and then the endless waterways of the mighty Mekong. Continue our boat trip to Vinh Long. Sometime we will stop for visiting brick pottery kilns and a floating fish farm. After that, we drive to Can Tho. Afterward, which is considered to be the heart of the Mekong Delta. Spend the night at our hotel.
Day 3: Can Tho – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
Before starting our journey back to Ho Chi Minh City, we board a motorboat to visit a great unique floating market of Cai Rang, see the beautiful scenery and daily life culture activities of the locals on the water. Disembark at Ninh Kieu quay, visit an ancient house (in Binh Thuy, 10 km from Cantho) and Can Tho Museum. Have lunch at a local restaurant on the way back to Sai Gon via My Tho. Our tour concluded at the hotel around 3 PM
