Full Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D)

Upon arrival we will be welcome at the airport and delivered to our hotel. We will be given a briefing about traveling in Vietnam before enjoying a special welcome dinner at an excellent Vietnamese restaurant.

Day 2: Hanoi - Ba Be Lake (B, L)

We depart from Hanoi at 07.30. We arriving in Ba Be town around 14h30, after checking in at the guesthouse, we will head out for a bit of exploration before the sunsets.

Day 3: Ba Be Lake (B, L, D)

We take our private boat for a cruise on the lake. We take a short trek to a Pac Ngoi village - Tay Minority People. We continue to visit Dau Dang waterfall, Puong Cave and more cruising along the Nang River.

Day 4: Ba Be Lake - Cao Bang (B)

8h00 we drive 90km to Cao Bang. The Province is the home where the H'mong, Dzao, Tho and Nung ethnic minorities people live in harmony.

Day 5: Cao Bang - Ban Gioc waterfall (B, L)

After breakfast at the hotel we depart for Ban Gioc waterfall. It takes a 3 hour drive from Cao Bang to Ban Gioc waterfall, which forms a natural border between Vietnam and China.

Day 6: Cao Bang - Lang Son (B, L)

In the morning we drive 150 km to Lang Son on the Chinese border. We stop for taking photos on That Khe Pass. After lunch we go to visit Nhi Thanh Cave, Tam Thanh Pagoda and the market at Dong Kinh, the biggest market in the area fully stocked with Chinese goods. Overnight at hotel in Lang Son.

Day 7: Lang Son - Halong Bay (B, L, D)

In the morning we depart Lang Son for the 180 km drive to Halong city. Overnight in hotel.

Day 8: Halong bay - Hanoi (B, L)

At 8h00 we leave our hotel for the Wharf, where we take our private boat to visit the secluded bay for 5 hours, having a wonderful seafood lunch on boat. We head back to Hanoi for overnight.

Day 9: Departure (B)

Today we are free at our leisure until the time we transfer to the airport for our flight to home.

Breakfast – Each breakfast will be served in your hotel or guest houses or home stay. Breakfast selections will be Vietnamese.

Lunch – Lunches are normally arranged at the Vietnamese restaurants near the scenic spots. Your tour guides will order food according to your appetite. All are Vietnamese dishes, and some are modified to fit westerners' tastes.

Dinner – Same as lunch. If you prefer to not eat Vietnamese food, Viet Vision Travel suggests you have dinner on your own. Your local tour guide can recommend some good western restaurants in the area (Western food some time not available in the remote of mountain area).
