Full Itinerary
Day 1: Saigon Arrival (D)
Upon arrival in Saigon, we will be met at the airport, transfer to hotel. Check-in and relax. Tonight we have dinner in a fine restaurant in Saigon.
Day 2: Saigon City Tour – Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L)
After breakfast, we depart our hotel for the Reunification Palace, the former Presidential Palace for the president of the South of Vietnam. After that, we will visit the War Remnant Museum, where we can see countless artifacts, photographs, and pictures documenting the second Indochina war. Before our lunch, we stop at Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office.
In the afternoon we will depart Saigon for visiting the legendary Cu Chi tunnels, which played a very important role in the Vietnam War in the south. Overnight in Saigon
Day 3: Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh City Fly to Da Nang (B, L)
Morning: Exploring the “Fruit Basket” of Vietnam At 08:00 AM, we depart from Ho Chi Minh City for a scenic drive to Cai Be, the heart of the Mekong Delta. Upon arrival, we board a private boat to explore the serene waterways of the Tien River. Instead of the crowded markets of the past, we focus on the authentic riverine soul, cruising past lush orchards and traditional stilt houses.
We make a fascinating stop at a local family workshop to see how traditional snacks like coconut candy and crispy pop-rice are handcrafted. Then, find your peace as a hand-rowed sampan takes you deeper into the labyrinth of small, palm-shaded canals—the perfect way to soak up the tranquil atmosphere of the Delta.
Afternoon: Local Flavors & Rural Rhythms A delicious lunch featuring Mekong specialties will be served at a charming local house nestled in a fruit orchard. After lunch, relax with a taste of seasonal tropical fruits while listening to the soulful melodies of Don Ca Tai Tu (traditional folk music).
Before concluding our Delta adventure, we hop on bicycles for a leisurely ride along shady village paths. This is a wonderful opportunity to witness “real life”—from farmers tending to their gardens to the ancient ways of harvesting fruit.
Late Afternoon: Flight to the Ancient Town Our boat trip ends in Vinh Long, where our private vehicle awaits to transfer you directly to Tan Son Nhat Airport for your short domestic flight to Danang. Upon arrival, your local guide will welcome you and transfer you to the enchanting town of Hoi An. Check in and overnight in Hoi An.


Day 4: Hoi An Sightseeing Tour (B)
Today, we have a morning walking tour in Hoi An town – one of the World Culture Heritages of Vietnam. As a unique destination of central Vietnam, Hoi An own the ancient and romantic beauty.
This quaint riverside town still boasts a wealth of century’s old traditional architecture. The influences of several Asian cultures can be seen in old houses and waterside buildings. It is also famous as a place to be instantly created inexpensive tailored outfits. Free at leisure in the afternoon.
Day 5: Hoi An transfer to Da Nang – Fly to Hanoi (B, L)
After breakfast, we depart Hoi An for Danang airport to take our short flight to Hanoi, the heart of Vietnam. We will be welcome upon arrival by local tour guide and driver in Hanoi, we then transfer to the city center to visit one of the most interesting museums in Vietnam; Museum of Ethnology, which is widely acknowledged as the best in the country and has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 Ethnic minority people.
After the museum, we transfer to a local restaurant for our lunch before checking in the hotel at midday. In the afternoon, we visit Ho Chi Minh Complex, where we will spend a couple of hours to visit: outside Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh museum and One-pillar pagoda. Keep going to see the Temple of Literature originally built as a temple to Confucius, this is the site of Vietnam’s first university dating back to 1070. The temple highlights the importance that Vietnamese society placed then and now on education.
In the rest of the day, we take one-hour cyclo around the Old Quarter, known as the 36 streets, this bustling area of narrow streets is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. Before we go back to the hotel, we will have a chance to enjoy the unique Water Puppet show to hear to know Vietnamese traditional instruments and singing from the live musicians who play throughout the show. Day 6: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L)
Today we will visit Halong Bay, recognized as the World Natural wonder is one of the most beautiful sites in Vietnam. We are met at the lobby of hotel by our tour guide & driver at 08:00 AM for a transfer to Halong Bay. After more than 3 hours driving including a stop-over in Hai Duong city, we arrive in Halong Bay at around 11:30. We move from our car to our private boat. Enjoy a fresh seafood lunch onboard your traditional junk while cruising leisurely through the natural wonders of Halong Bay, passing the most beautiful spots in the Bay.
Discover the amazing stalactites in Dau Go (Wooden Stakes) Grotto and Thien Cung (Heaven Palace) Grotto with their fantastic history. The afternoon cruise is highly recommended for those who want to discover Halong Bay within a limited timeframe. We then go back to the dock by another way at around 16:00 and we are picked up by our vehicle & will return to Hanoi in the evening at around 19:00 – 19:30 with drop back at the hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 7: Hanoi Departure (B)
Today we are free at our leisure in Hanoi, then transfer to Hanoi airport for your departure flight. The best Vietnam Tour 7 days concludes.
