Vietnam Dreaming Tour – 12 Days

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport, you will be welcomed by a guide from Viet Vision Travel and transferred to our hotel in the center of Saigon. Once there we will be at our leisure and have time to relax. In the evening we will dine on wonderful Vietnamese cuisine at The Home Finest restaurant in Saigon. We will then spend the night at the hotel.

In the morning, we leave Saigon behind and head to Vietnam’s rice basket, the Mekong Delta by the Mango Cruise. We will pass through idyllic, rural scenes until we arrive at My Tho, a peaceful town on the bank of the Mekong River, where we will visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda.

Next, we will have a boat ride on the Mekong, visit local homes and orchards, a coconut candy workshop, a honeybee farm, take a sampan ride on palm-shaded creeks, try a taste of seasonal fruit and honey tea and enjoy a performance of traditional Southern singing. We return to Saigon at about 6 pm.

Today we have a full day to explore the highlights of Saigon including Notre Dame Cathedral, the General Post Office, the Formal Presidential Palace and the Museum of War Remnants. After lunch, we will head to the legendary Cu Chi tunnels – the best highlight by the deluxe speedboat to explore the ancient artifacts since the Vietnam-US war. We will stay overnight at the hotel in Saigon.

We take the morning flight to Danang – the most worth-living city in Vietnam. Visit the Cham Museum in Danang, which is a display of fine artifacts of the Cham people. We then sightsee My Khe beach and a marble crafting village. Later we will explore the charming little township of Hoi An with its old houses and temples.

In the morning, we can enjoy the walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the Old town, visit Fu Kien assembly hall, the 200-year-old Tan Ky house, the Japanese cover bridge, Hoi An Museum, and the handicraft workshops which are the best highlights of this Vietnam ancient city.

We embark on a Northern bound journey to Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam. On the way, we stop on the spectacular Hai Van Pass – one of the most scenic hillside roads in Vietnam. The journey takes about 5 hours. In the afternoon we will have our first glimpse of Hue to visit the Forbidden Purple City and Dong Ba market. Tonight we will join the Traditional Music show in the boat on the Perfume River.

Today we will take a boat cruise on the Perfume River to visit the picturesque Thien Mu or Heavenly Lady Pagoda. Also, other worth visiting sites are the tombs of the former Emperors Minh Mang, Tu Duc, and Khai Dinh. We will be free to enjoy our leisure in the afternoon.

In the morning we will transfer to Danang airport via Hai Van tunnel to take a flight to the capital city of Vietnam – Hanoi. Upon arrival in Hanoi, you will be transferred to our hotel. In the afternoon we will take a cyclo tour to visit Hanoi’s Old Quarter and French Quarter and in the evening we can enjoy the unique Water puppet show as a typical feature in Vietnamese culture.

In the morning we will be transferred to our hotel. We take the City tour to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum including Mausoleum, the Presidential palace, House on stilts and the One Pillar Pagoda. Then we visit the Temple of literature and the first university in Vietnam since the 11^th century nearby. After lunch, we visit the impressive Museum of Ethnology, the finest museum in Vietnam. We follow this with a walking tour of Hanoi’s vibrant Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake.

We will be picked up from our appointed hotel in Hanoi from 7:45 to 8.00 o’clock in the morning. Then depart Hanoi for Halong Bay, along the way we will have a coffee break at a humanity center. After arrival Tuan Chau private wharf at noontime (11:45), we transfer to our Scarlet Pearl Cruise. On the cruise we will have a welcome cocktail and have a briefing, safety instructions then check in our luxury cabins.

We then set sail and to explore Halong Bay. Our Asian Buffet lunch will be served from 13.00 – 14.30 as the vessel sails to Halong Bay passing numerous of limestone islands and islets like the Cocks fighting islets, the Elephant leg islet, the Castle islet. At around 14.30, we arrive at Luon Cave (Hallow cave). We will have a chance to explore most famous grotto in the entire Halong Bay by local rowing boat or we can enjoy kayaking activities (If weather permitted) or Discover the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay, the Surprising Cave.

After the excursion at 15.30, we transfer back to the cruise ship and continue cruising through the bay. At 16.30 we arrive at Fairy Male cave and visit the Cua Van Floating Village – experience the daily life of local people – Optional: kayaking At 17.15 we keep on to cruise to explore Halong Bay.

Enjoy the open-air cooking demonstration on the sundeck (weather permitting) and discover the secrets of the Vietnamese cuisine. At 18.00 we arrive at Pearl farm area where once again we have a chance to go swimming or kayaking, then anchor for stay overnight. At dawn we can enjoy the open-air cocktail bar located on the sundeck then savor a delicious five-course Set-dinner will be served at 7:00 PM.

From 21.00 to 23.00 Happy Hour and Music on the open-air sundeck bar – Enjoy ‘Buy One – Get Two Drinks’. At 21.00 night activities includes: enjoy Movie Night, Board Games or Beauty Spa services, relax at leisure.

Sunrise on this seclude Bay will be a wonderful experience, we then have a chance for a Tai Chi Lesson at 06:45 on the sundeck. After that, we can enjoy our Continental Buffet Breakfast from 07.00 – 09.00. During breakfast, the cruise keeps moving to explore other areas in Halong Bay.

At around 07.45, we arrive at Ti Top Island where we can enjoy the Ti Top Beach or get up to the top of the island for a fabulous bird eyes view of Halong Bay. We have the option of swimming or kayaking activities (subject to weather permission).

At 08.30, We depart Ti Top Island to continue cruise through Halong Bay. We check out our cabin at 09.30 & our settle bills – Luggage collection.

At 10.30, We will disembark the Warf at Tuan Chau Island. We will be transferred from the Cruise. We then transfer to our vehicles to go back to Hanoi.

We will transfer to the airport for our departure flight home. The 12-day trip to Vietnam now ends.
