Sapa - Fansipan Trekking - 7 Days

On arrival at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, we will be welcomed by our guide and transferred to Phung Hung Street. The train will run through this area while we enjoy our coffee here. Following we visit the Temple of Literature, which was originally built as a temple to Confucius. Later this afternoon, we visit Ngoc Son Temple, we will learn about these places before enjoying 1-hour cyclo tour of the French-inspired "Old Quarter". We will be free to shop in the old Quarter ranges from markets to designer boutique stores to amazing contemporary art galleries. After dinner, we sit down to enjoy a performance of the city’s famous Water Puppets. After that, we will have an early dinner before moving to the train station for the night train to Lao Cai – Sapa.

After the train arrives at 6 am, our guide will pick you up at Lao Cai Station and we will transfer to Sapa in around 1 hour. When you arrive in Sapa, we will eat breakfast here before starting our trip.

After breakfast, we transfer to Cat Cat village. After a couple of minutes, you follow the steps going downhill to Cat Cat village. You will stop by a waterfall and a hydroelectric station for a while before continuing the trek on a dirt trail through rice paddy terraces. You also will enjoy spectacular scenery while walking along a narrow river. You eventually arrive in Y Linh Ho village of the Black Hmong minority, where you can take a rest while you are served lunch nearby the river.

After lunch, you head toward Muong Hoa valley. You will pass through the Lao Chai village of the Black Hmong minority and then the Tavan village of the Giay minority by following a very popular trekking route. You will return to Sapa from Tavan by car.

Approx: 0,5-hour driving / 5 hours walking / 1-hour lunch.

*Note: The tour is a private tour so our tour guide will follow the speed of all members. You can consider to change to a different route because there’re many village in Sapa and this route is the basic one.

Highlights:
Fansipan itself is an attraction of Sapa area as well as Northern Vietnam. The peak is a part of Hoang Lien mountain range, which is under the protection of Hoang Lien National Park. The trip offers you an opportunity to explore the beautiful nature and challenge yourself.

You are having a couple of interesting days waiting ahead. You travel by car towards the Silver Waterfall. After a short time to take picture of the waterfall. You will then drive further to Heaven Gate, the highest peak of roads in Vietnam. From there you can see Fansipan, the highest peak of Indochina mountains as well as enjoy stunning views. The trek will be relatively soft until lunchtime. After a couple of hours of hiking, you will have a break at a nice spot in the forest and enjoy a good lunch.

With new energy you start ascending as well as descending towards the campsite. En route you have many opportunities to enjoy the scenery and magnificent views to Sapa area and beautiful landscape of Lai Chau province. You will arrive to the campsite at 2800m ASL in the late afternoon. Now it is time to relax and enjoy a well prepared dinner.

Approx: 0,5 hour driving/ 6 hours walking/ 1 hour lunch.

After having breakfast, you climb to the top, where you can celebrate your victory. From there, you can enjoy the best view to beautiful sceneries. You will then start descending. You stop on the way at a nice spot for lunch.

After lunch, you start the tough trek, which is all the way downhill through rainforest. This part requires a great concentration to step on steep trail until you meet the campsite at 2100m ASL. Here you spend another night in tent.
Approx: 6 hours walking/ 1 hour lunch.

You wake up in the fresh and pure morning in wild nature, before heading back to civilization. You trek downhill through well-protected forest and after two hours of hiking, you stop for lunch.

You will then continue descending toward Sin Chai village of Back Hmong minority. On the way you will be able to enjoy valley views and beautiful surrounding. You stop at the village for a while before you go by car back to Sapa, where you can celebrate your achievement and relax.

Today, you will be free until 2:30 pm and the D-Car will pick you up from the hotel’s lobby and transfer to Hanoi.

After breakfast, we will be free until your driver arrives to take you to Noi Bai airport for your departure flight. Tour ends.
