Hue Weather

Hue is located in transitional area of subtropical and tropical monsoon, there is no obviously rain season and dry season. Cold weather only approaches when the northeast monsoon comes and dry season is usually under influence of southwest wind from Laos. The cold weather is rainy and humid in this period especially in the autumn and winter. The weather is drier in summer but occasionally rainy or stormy.
Located in the tropical monsoon belt, Hue has annual amount of radiation is quite large, reaching 70-85 kcal / cm². The average annual temperature is 25°C; the highest in August (28,5°C); the lowest in January and December (20,3°C).
The average annual rainfall is 3249mm, the average humidity is 87.6%. The number of storms in Hue is pretty much, usually starting in June, most on September and October.
