This is our latest designed adventure cycling tours. It offers new challenging to conquer passes and explore imposing beauty mountain landscape of untouched mountain region around northwest of Vietnam. Our adventure starts from Hanoi, then cycling to the Red River, where we experience daily life of villagers on lower land. We gradually overcome many little passes and then highest pass of Tram Ton near Sa Pa where we enjoy the great view there and cool wind with take your breath away. Finally, we will relax on our deluxe junk cruise in the Natural World Heritage Site of Halong bay after long and hardship cycling. This trip is absolutely great for adventure cycling travel in Vietnam.

Day 1: Hanoi arrival (D)
Upon arrival at Hanoi airport, you will be welcomed by a cyclist guide from Viet Vision Travel and transferred to our hotel in the center of Hanoi City. Afterward you will be briefing about your whole adventure cycling around northwest, you will be at your leisure and have time to relax, this evening you enjoy the authentic Vietnamese cuisine n fine local restaurant.

Day 2: Hanoi – La Phu hot spring (60 km cycling distance) (B, L, D)
Our adventure cycling start from Hotel in Hanoi, grab your own bike, check safety then leaving hotel, sneaky riding through the traffic, get out city we cycle long river dike of Red river. The routine will bring us breaking through many nice peaceful villages of Giay , Ke and Phuc Tho, cross rice paddy. Arrival to Son Tay around lunch time, after lunch rest for a little while, we then continue cycling ancient village of Duong Lam, short break, following is La Phu hot spring village in a little bit early afternoon, so have time enough to try out having bath in hot spring, here is also the place to stay overnight.

Day 3: La Phu – Nghia Lo (Yen Bai) (70 km cycling distance) (B, L, D)
Today promising hard challenging because of we will have to over up and down may little pass and curbing bend around the mountains, but surely what we will get is marvelous landscape. When ever you feel exhausted our van and truck escort from be hide you, load the bike on truck and riding on van with full air conditional, Lunch at the local restaurant at Cross road of Thu Cuc. As further cycling as more beautiful scenery of wild natural combine with ethnic minority villages, this afternoon we will experience in adventure feeling by crewing down 10 km pass. We will stay overnight in Nghia Lo town.

Day 4: Nghia Lo – Mu Cang Chai (60 km cycling distance) (B, L, D)
Our gold for today is Mu Cang Chai, as usual after breakfast, start rock and roll cycling to conquer high elevation; we will pass many villages of ethnic people and amazing terrace paddy, surely here will give so beautiful photos collection about northwest of Vietnam. This morning our van and truck will take us out of town about 15 km where start embrace our strek bike, after leaving many pass long distance, we take short break in Tu Le town for have lunch, saving energy and suitable with cycling principle so we board on the van take us to the top of the pass of Khau Pha, once here set the bikes out for nice and cool crewing down for 10 km then Mu Cang Chai.

Day 5: Mu Cang Chai – Than Uyen – Than Thuoc town (70 km cycling distance) (B, L, D)
Package every things up we continue cycling to next destination, Leaving the hotel by bike we will arrival to a little town of Than Uyen for having lunch, after lunch we keep slow pace riding to small and town of Than Thuoc for overnight. The purpose overnight Here in this town is saving energy for last conquer of Hoang Lien Son pass following day ,it is a longest and highest pass in Vietnam sure it is definitely worthwhile to try it out the great challenging.

Day 6: Than Thuoc – Sa Pa (60 km cycling distance) (B, L)
After breakfast, you’ll have a wonderful short time in the morning. We move to nice local minority villages by vehicle for visiting Lu’s ethnic minority people with their distinctively black teeth. Your support vehicle will transfer to cross road where we start cycling, the routine will leading us through the old growth forest, tea plantations, verdant rice paddies and climb up to highest and longest mountain pass of Hoang Lien Son, please noted, our truck and escort vehicle come a long from your be hide so if you feel too hard to conquer the top pass, enjoy vehicle ride to the top, from here you can choose continue last day gliding to Sapa, total long pass is 18 km steeply and curve around mountain side and nice silver water fall, overnight in Sapa.

Day 7: Cycling around Sa Pa (Ta Phin the village red Zdao and Black H’mong people) (B)
8am – Start bicycle ride downhill towards Ma Tra valley. The road is adventures, downhill in the beginning, crossing bridge, some places you have to get off and lift the bike over small streams. The scenery is more and more stunning, and you will have time to stop and enjoy the view. There’s also time to visit Black H’mong ethnic minority village of Ma Tra, a very small village hiding way from the civilization

After a picnic lunch at nice open air spot, we continue the ride and enter Ta Phin village from the back way. You will experience the daily life of the Back Hmong and Dao minorities and then start cycling through the village’s to the main road, where will be picked up and transferred back to Sa Pa.

Day 8: Sa Pa – Hanoi (B)
Today you should be recharge energy by have good rest, so this morning is free at leisure until check out hotel, afternoon time we will enjoy soft sightseeing tour to most beautiful of Ta Van and Lao Chai, after lunch our driver take us to Valley for short trek then retune to Sapa and heading straight to Lao Cai city to take overnight back to Hanoi.

Day 9: Hanoi (B)
Arrival back to Hanoi in early morning, transfer to hotel, mix with local people for having noodle for breakfast, free then to rest of shopping, in the afternoon we will enjoy orientation city tours by visiting Temple of Literature and an hour rickshaw ride around vibrant bustling of the old town.

Day 10: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)
After breakfast, we will head out for 3 hours drive to Halong Bay. Upon arriving in Halong City, we will transferred to our deluxe boat for a cruise of the crystalline emerald waters of Halong Bay, giving us the chance to take in the stunning scenery of this World Heritage Site. For 2 days, we will be served a sumptuous fresh, local seafood lunch followed by a swim, cave exploring, Tonight we will stay over night on our Junk (share Junk boat with other people).

Day 11: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L)
Start a great day with a refreshing swim and a good breakfast when the sun is rising from the Bay. In the morning we take an adventure by kayak to explore other beauty region of the bay. We’ll have lunch before return to the main harbor and drive back to Hanoi.

Day 12: Hanoi departure (B)
Free at your leisure until transfer to airport to departure back home

Breakfast – Each breakfast will be served in your hotel or guest house. Breakfast selections include both Vietnamese and Western dishes.

Lunch – Lunches are normally arranged at the Vietnamese restaurants near the scenic spots. Your tour guides will order food according to your appetite. Most are Vietnamese dishes, and some restaurants are cook only for local and there isn’t menu in English. In that case our guide will help you to order food.

Dinner – Same as lunch. If you prefer to not eat Vietnamese food, Viet Vision Travel suggests you have dinner on your own. Your local tour guide can recommend some good restaurants in the area or can help you in some practical situations.
