Vietnamese artworks on display in England
A fine art exhibition entitled Hoi nhap Dong Tay (Integration between West and East) opened in London on March 5.
The show is part of Vietnamese Cultural Days, a festival to welcome Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung’s current visit to the UK.
Among the well-known painters are Bui Huu Hung, Nguyen Thanh Binh, Pham Luan and Pham An Hai. Each artist explores Vietnamese themes and styles with the backdrop of development and integration.
One of the highlights is the exhibition of pottery from Bat Trang Village.
The event, co-organised by the Song Hong (Red River) Gallery and the IEC (International Education Consultancy) Company, will run until March 14.
