Description Ha Long Bay covers an area of 1,553 sq. km including 1,969 islands, of which an area of over 434 sq. km including 788 islands has been recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage due to its cultural, aesthetic, bio-geological and economic value. There are many soil islands, caves, grottoes, beaches, beautiful landscapes enabling the development of attractive tourist sites of various types in the bay.

Detail itinerary
Day 1 Hanoi - Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba Island This morning we will depart Hanoi at 8.00am for more than 3 hour driving through the Red River Delta to Ha Long City. On the way, we will stop for refreshments and a chance to buy hand made souvenirs at a handicraft center run to raise money for disabled people in Sao Do town, Hai Duong Province. Upon arriving in Ha Long city we’ll embark on the calm waters of Ha Long Bay to explore the Bay with thousands of lime-stone mountains and grotto caves. In the afternoon we arrive in Cat Ba Island. Day 2 Cat Ba Island - Hai Phong – Hanoi Following breakfast at the hotel we visit the Cat Ba National Park to visit the old Military Hospital cave that was used by the North Vietnamese Army during the American war. We will return to Cat Ba Township before boarding the one-hour ferry service back to Vietnam’s largest sea port and third largest city, Hai Phong. Arriving in Hai Phong we transfer to our waiting vehicle for the two hour drive back to Hanoi. Tour ends at around 06:00PM. Today breakfast and Lunch included
