DETAILS ITINERARY:
Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi Upon arrival in Hanoi, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. You will then be free to enjoy the rest of the day.
Day 2: Hanoi – city tour – Lao Cai Our trip will start at around 08:00AM. We will visit the Ho Chi Minh complex and the Temple of Literature, then we will stop for lunch at a fine cuisine restaurant. In the afternoon you will be free to enjoy your leisure. In the evening we will leave for Lao Cai by Victoria Train. Today Breakfast included
Day 3: Lao Cai – Sapa Upon arrival in Lao Cai City at around 06:30, we will be welcomed by our driver who will take us to Sapa Town. After checking in at the hotel (if the room is available) we will have breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant. You will be free to enjoy the rest of the morning. Our trip will start in the afternoon by visiting Cat Cat valley, and the Black H’mong people in the their village. The H’mong people in Vietnam originate from China. They have lived in Vietnam for a long time. They are considered Vietnamese and can speak both Vietnamese and their own language, H’mong. Visiting Cat Cat village, we will have the opportunity to share cultural experiences with families and get to know the different localities. After that we will head back to the town and join the local market and chat with some of the many friendly people there. We will stay overnight in Sapa town. Today Breakfast included
Day 4: Sapa – Night train to Hanoi After a delicious breakfast in the hotel, our visit today will be to Lao Chai and Ta Van villages where there are homes of Black H’mong and Dzay people. There will be an absolutely spectacular walk though some stunning scenery inhabited by some of the friendliest people you will ever meet. Once on the floor of the valley you will really get a sense of the wonderful scenery that surrounds you. We will come back to Sapa town for lunch in a local restaurant and then relax at the hotel. Later we will meet our guide and take the car again to transfer back to Lao Cai city in order to take the night train to Hanoi. On the way we will visit Ta Phin Village, which is situated in a large valley and surrounded by rice fields. Ta Phin is home of the Dzao people. Dzao women are particularly striking as they wear a large red turban often covered with old coins or jewelry. They also shave their hair and eyebrows. We may visit one of their houses and learn a bit about their way of life. Tonight we will once again take the Victoria train to Hanoi. Today Breakfast & Lunch included
Day 5: Hanoi – Halong Bay (Share junk) Upon a early arrival in Hanoi we will transfer to the hotel in order to relax and have breakfast. At 08:30 we will depart from Hanoi for Ha Long Bay (Ascending Dragon Bay) through the lust green fields in the Red River Delta. Arriving in Halong city at around lunch time, we will transfer to Emeraude’s Pier and will be welcomed by Emeraude’s staff. We will then check in on board. The Emeraude cruises through Halong Bay passing by some of the most scenic locations including Yen Ngua, Con Coc Mountains as well as a floating fishing village. Our buffet lunch will be served in the cruise’s restaurant. If weather permitting, we will visit Sung Sot cave (Surprising cave) and relax. In the afternoon we can enjoy tea with pastries on the sundeck or an aperitif in the restaurant before dinner. Today Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included
Day 6: Halong Bay – Hanoi We will get up early in the morning at around 06:00 and join our Tai Chi class. Our itinerary today continues along the tranquil bay and our European buffet breakfast will start at 07.00 till 08:30. After breakfast, we will check out of our cabins. The cruise disembarks at Emeraude Pier, where we will be met by our guide who l will have a car waiting for our transfer to Hanoi. Arriving in Hanoi at around lunch time, we will check in to the hotel and relax. You will then be free to enjoy your leisure for the rest of day. Today Breakfast included
Day 07: Departure Today we are free and at our leisure until it is time to transfer to the airport for our flight home. Today Breakfast included
