Le Cochinchine Cruise on Mekong River - 3 Days

Day 1 Ho Chi Minh - Can Tho - Cai Be (L, D)
We depart Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) about 7 AM in the morning. At around 11h30-12h30 we board Le Cochinchine boat. Enjoy welcome drink. Explore the lively Cai Be floating market. Cruising amongst the mazes of waterway to visit the handicraft villages and meet with local people. Sightseeing the old house and sample various tropical fruits.
Lunch on board while Le Cochinchine sets sail through Cho Lach to Mang Thit.

Embark on a pleasant walking or biking on the footpaths of the countryside to discover tropical fruit orchards and the local people's activities. En route to visit a cottage industry , a local farm and sample seasonal fruits. Leisurely cruise up the Mekong River taking in the beautiful scenery and the magnificent sunset on sunset on the river while sipping aperitifs. A wonderful day with picturesque ferry crossings over Mekong River branches. Dinner and night on board in Tra On.

Day 2 Cai Be - My Thuan - Sa Dec (B, L, D)
After breakfast on board over splendid sunrise on the Mekong.
Le Cochinchine continues its cruise toward Caibe. Explore the lively Cai Be floating market. Walking amongst the lush vegetation to visit the handicraft villages and meet with local people and go ashore to visit the French Gothic Cathedral and colorful port area, with its colonial buildings, delightful flower gardens and local coconut candy and rice paper manufacturers. We explore evergreen islands and visit the former Imperial residence House, where surviving members of the family will welcome us with tea, and we can wander in the fruit orchards around the house. Departure from Cai Be to Cai Thia while lunch is served on board. Walk for a visit of the gardens and orchards on the bank of the peninsula. Le Cochinchine set sails again to Sadec. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 3 Sa Dec - Ho Chi Minh (B)
Rising up early for another nice day we contemplate sunrise while having breakfast on board. Visit pagoda, food market, Cao Dai temple and primary school headed by Magueritte Duras. Walks along the village path and acquaintance with rural activities of local people ie rice and vegetable farms, shrimp fishing net. Enjoy the landscape and meeting hosting smiling children. Noon time approaching, disembark and the cruise concludes. We will be pcik up and transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City

Ho Chi Minh - Can Tho - Sa Dec - Cai Be - Ho Chi Minh

Day 1 Ho Chi Minh - Can Tho - Tra On (L, D)
We depart Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) around 7 in the morning. Around 12.00-12h30 we board LE COCHINCHINE boat. Enjoy welcome drink
Transfer on a local boat to explore the Cai Rang market one of the most bustling floating markets in Mekong. We go for a walk through the palm-shaded creek to see local houses and green orchards. Le Cochinchine continues its cruise to Tra On. Lunch served on board. Leisurely cruise down the Mekong while enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Visits of the fruit farm and walks amongst pleasant villages on the footpaths of the countryside. Opportunity to meet with local people.
Boarding back at with an aperitif while enjoying the magnificent sunset on the Mang Thit canal and Nicola River.
Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 2 Vinh Long - My Thuan - Sa Dec (B, L, D)
After breakfast on board over splendid sunrise on the Mekong.
Walks /cycle amongst the lush vegetation to visit the fruit farm, the handicraft villages and meet with local people.
Le Cochinchine set sails again to Sa Dec while lunch is served on board. Visit busy Sa Dec food market and primary school headed by Magueritte Duras. Walks along the village path and acquaintance with rural activities as farmers farm their fields: rice fields, vegetable farms, fish farms.
Boarding back at with an aperitif while cruising down to Cai Thia.
Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 3 Cai Be - Ho Chi Minh (B)
We have breakfast on boat in the morning.
Cycling on the bank of the peninsula for a visit of the gardens and orchards.
Le Cochinchine continues its cruise toward Cai Be.
Transfer to a local boat for an extensive visit of Cai Be: the floating market, local pop-rice and sweets production. Visit of colonial buildings, old houses, delightful flower gardens and local coconut candy and rice paper manufacturers.
Boarding back at noon, with a welcome-back drink.
11 h00-11h30 Disembark in Cai Be. The cruise concludes. We will be picked up and transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.
