Bassac Cruise: Ho Chi Minh - Cai Be - Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh - 2 Days

Day 1 Ho Chi Minh City - Cai Be - Cruise to Can Tho (L, D)
This trip is started from Ho Chi Minh City and return to Ho Chi Minh City. In the morning you will be picked up right at the hotel by a private car and we depart Saigon at 7.00am to be on time for boarding our cruise package with Bassac Cruises. Our vehicle will arrive in Cai Be pier in Mekong Delta area at around 10.00am where the Bassac Cruises is waiting for us. We will be picked up to board the boat at around noon time. Once boarding the ship, you will be welcomed with a nice light drink and being introduced to the ship and crew and then will check into the cabins to start our cruise package in two days officially. Our boat will cruise toward Cho Lach on the Tien Giang River while the lunch is served. After lunch, it is optional for us can rest on the deck or enjoy the open bar.

Turning into Cho Lach canal in about 30 minutes through the traffic of sand and rice barges, in scenery of fruit drying facilities and wooden ship building yards. The boat will stop for our visit to a village on the banks of Mang Thit River – an opportunity to experience and know about the life & the hospitality of local inhabitants here. Following by a visit more to the orchard or rice fields nearby and after that we will return our boat to enjoy a complimentary drink as a welcome back on board. Resting on the deck of the boat to enjoy sunset while the crews is preparing the dinner. Enjoying the dinner while our ship is cruising on Mang Thit River. The Bassac is moored right downstream from the little Tra On Floating Market for staying overnight.

Day 2 Sunrise Cruise - Cai Rang Floating Market - Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Waking up to the sunrise and the breakfast is available from 06:30am while the ship is cruising through Tra On Floating Market to depart toward Can Tho. We will check out the ship once arriving at Cai Rang Floating Market. Right here, we will move a smaller local boat for exploring the floating market, the nearby arroyos and gardens, and then the boat continue toward the Ninh Kieu Pier in Can Tho province. Once here, we will meet our driver again for transferring back to Saigon in early afternoon around 3.00pm. Our trip is concluded.
