Bassac Cruise: Ho Chi Minh - Cai Be - Can Tho - Cai Be - Ho Chi Minh - 3 Days

Day 1 Ho Chi Minh City - Cai Be Overnight (L, D)
This trip is started from Ho Chi Minh City and return to Ho Chi Minh City. In the morning you will be picked up right at the hotel by a private car and we depart Saigon at 7.00 am to be on time for boarding our cruise package with Bassac Cruises. Our vehicle will arrive in Cai Be pier in Mekong Delta area at around 10.00am where the Bassac Cruises is waiting for us. We will be picked up to board the boat at around noon time. Once boarding the ship, you will be welcomed with a nice light drink and being introduced to the ship and crew and then will check into the cabins to start our cruise package in two days officially. Our boat will cruise toward Cho Lach on the Tien Giang River while the lunch is served. After lunch, it is optional for us can rest on the deck or enjoy the open bar.

Turning into Cho Lach canal in about 30 minutes through the traffic of sand and rice barges, in scenery of fruit drying facilities and wooden ship building yards. The boat will stop for our visit to a village on the banks of Mang Thit River – an opportunity to experience and know about the life & the hospitality of local inhabitants here. Following by a visit more to the orchard or rice fields nearby and after that we will return our boat to enjoy a complimentary drink as a welcome back on board. Resting on the deck of the boat to enjoy sunset while the crews is preparing the dinner. Enjoying the dinner while our ship is cruising on Mang Thit River. The Bassac is moored right downstream from the little Tra On Floating Market for staying overnight.

Day 2 Cai Be - Can Tho - Overnight (B, L, D)
Breakfast is available from 06:30, while the ship is cruising the Tra On floating market. The ship then departs towards Can Tho till arriving in Cai Rang floating market. Once here, we will move to another smaller boat to visit the floating market, the nearby arroyos and gardens and toward to the Ninh Kieu pier. After the visit, we will board back to our ship. Welcome drink is served and the ship will continue to depart downstream of the Hau River. Lunch on board while en route to Tra On floating market.

Our ship will continue turning into Nicolai canal, towards the Mang Thit and Co Chien Rivers. Rest on the upper deck in a scenery of rice fields, sugar cane, woods on the near banks. Next, we will visit to a village on the banks of river Mang Thit, an opportunity to appreciate the way of life and hospitality of the local inhabitants. Visit of the orchard or rice fields nearby.

Boarding back to the ship in late afternoon, a complimentary drink as a welcome back on board. Taking time for a rest on the deck or around the bar enjoying the sunset. The crew will serve dinner while the Bassac is cruising Mang Thit River towards her anchorage point for the night. Our Bassac ship will set anchor for overnight on river Mang Thit.

Day 3 Can Tho - Cai Be - Return to Ho Chi Minh City (B)
At 6:30am: Our ship will set the departure toward Cai Be. We will enjoy the breakfaxt with enjoying the scenery on the banks. The Bassac ship will cross Co Chien River then through branches into Cho Lach canal for 30 minutes cruising through the traffic of sand and rice barges, in scenery of fruit drying facilities and wooden shop building yards.

Once arrival in Cai Be, we will check out the ship and board to another boat for the last visit of Cai Be floating market. After the visit, we will get to Cai Be pier where our vehicle is waiting for transferring us back to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). The trip is concluded with the drop off at your hotel.
