Bassac Cruise: Can Tho - Cai Be - Ho Chi Minh - 2 Days

Day 1 Can Tho - Cruise to Cai Be (L, D)
This trip is started from Can Tho City and return to Ho Chi Minh City.
This morning, we are met at Ninh Kieu pier in Can Tho then we board the ship and start our cruise on Mekong River. Boarding the ship at around noon time, we will be welcomed with a light drink and being introduced to the ship and crew and then checking in the cabins.

Our ship will start cruising downstream of the Hau River while lunch is served en route toward near Tra On Floating Market and turn into Mang Thit River towards Co Chien River. After the lunch will be a rest time on the upper deck or enjoy the open bar and have a panorama of rice fields, sugar cane, woods on the near banks. We will have a visit to a village on the banks of Mang Thit River, an interesting opportunity to appreciate the way of life and the hospitality of the local inhabitants here. Next we will visit to the orchard or rice fields nearby. Getting back to our ship for an enjoyment of a complimentary drink as a welcome back on board and can take a rest on the deck to enjoy the sunset. The crew will serve dinner while the Bassac is cruising downstream toward Mang Thit River and set the anchor for overnight.

Day 2 Sunrise Cruise - Can Tho - Cai Be Floating Market - Ho Chi Minh City (B)
At 06:30: Enjoying our breakfast in the sunrise with overview the scenery on the banks. Our Bassac Cruise will cross Co Chien river then to branches into Cho Lach canal for 30 minutes through the traffic of sand and rice barges, in a panorama of fruit drying facilities and wooden ship building yards.

Once our ship arrives in Cai Be, we will check-out and boarding of a smaller local boat for a short tour of Cai Be Floating Market. Then we arrive at Cai Be pier as the last point of our cruise and get on our vehicle for a transfer back to (Saigon) Ho Chi Minh City center. Our whole trip with Bassac is concluded.
