- This 5-day short trip gives us chances to explore Hanoi and Halong Bay within short times. The trip starts from stately Hanoi then explore the World Heritage site of Halong Bay in two days. The trip is great for people who have short time and just want discover the northern part of Vietnam.
DETAIL ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi (D)
Transfer via: International Flight on your own arrangement
Up on your arrival, you will be greeted by our tour guide and transferred to the hotel. We are free and relax till the time of the welcome dinner at a restaurant serving fine Vietnamese cuisine. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi tour (B, L)
Sites visited: Ho Chi Minh complex, Temple of Literature, Ethnology Museum, West Lake area, Hoan Kiem Lake, Water Puppet show
We will visit Ho Chi Minh complex and the Temple of Literature then we stop for our lunch at a local fine restaurant. This afternoon, we visit the Ethnology Museum, West Lake area (Quan Thanh Temple and Tran Quoc Pagoda), Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake. We have one hour to tale cyclo to travel around the Ancient city to see the daily Life of Hanoian and one more hour to watch The Water Puppet show in the Theater on the bank of Hoan Kiem Lake.
Overnight in Hanoi
Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)
Sites visited: Halong Bay, fishing village, caves
We depart Hanoi to Ha Long Bay, which is now one of four World Heritage-listed sites in Vietnam. Upon arriving in Ha Long City we transfer to our private boat for an amazing cruise of Ha Long Bay, and if the weather permits, we will have the opportunity for a swim in the crystalline emerald waters. The trip would not be completed without a sumptuous seafood lunch on board. Dinner will be served and we will spend overnight on board
Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L)
Sites visited: Hallow caves, fishing village
Rising early we can hear the sound of the ocean coming to life for another lovely day. We will have our breakfast over sunrise before more exploration of Ha Long bay by junk and then by rowing boat to the lagoons. We will visit Luon cave, and the floating villages. We then sail to explore the Bay and have a fresh seafood lunch on board before approaching Ha Long wharf. We will return to Hanoi at around 03:00PM. Overnight at a hotel in Hanoi.
Day 5: Hanoi – Departure (B)
Transfer via international flight – your arrangement
Today our awaiting vehicle will transfer us back to the airport for our flight to home. Trip ends
