3 Days Nam Cat Tien National Park Tour

Cat Tien National Park is a treasure trove of biodiversity. Here in the tropical forests of southern Vietnam live some of the world's most endangered species. The park, one of the largest in the country, was established in recognition of Cat Tien's unique wildlife and the importance of protecting it. This trip brings you two- hour night cruise in to the jungle, in a jeep, allows visitor to enjoy the feelings of watching wild animals drinking and hearing the calls of rhinoceros.

DAILY DEPARTURE

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Nam Cat Tien (L, D)
This morning our tour guide will met us at the hotel’s lobby, leaving city we will be drive to Nam Cat Tien National Park, Dong Nai province, 170km from Ho Chi Minh City. Once off Highway One, the road passes through large areas of rubber plantations before branching off the highway on a rough track to the national park. An incredible diversity of birds and mammals, live in the forest and wetland habitats of Nam Cat Tien, including an estimated 230 species of birds, endangered birds to be found here in their dinner. The afternoon is spent for birding along the road from the park headquarters. Diner & watching some animal at headquarters. Overnight in Nam Cat Tien.

Day 2: Discover Nam Cat Tien National Park (B, L, D)
After having breakfast, discover the forest by bike to see the Haven waterfall & botanical garden. Enjoy lunch. In the afternoon we are starting for the 6km by pick up car through forest to Crocodile Lake. Species that can be seen here include Green Peafowl by Crocodile Lake in the early morning or late afternoon, Bronze-winged Jacana, lesser adjutant and Purple Heron. In the forest look out for Red and Black and Banded Broadbill, orange-breasted Trogon and Pale-headed Woodpecker amongst others. Overnight in Crocodile Lake

Day 3: Nam Cat Tien - Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
This morning, we should wake up early to listen to the nice songs of native birds. Breakfast prepares them for another four-hour trekking to see the Crocodiles swamp and back to the headquarter of the National Park for lunch. Then get on vehicle for heading back to Saigon. End services.
