DETAIL ITINERARY
Day 1 Hanoi (D)
Transfer via: International Flight on your own arrangement
Accommodations: Maison D’Hanoi Hotel Upon arrival at Hanoi Airport our guide will accompany you to our hotel. In the evening we will enjoy our welcome dinner at a fine cuisine restaurant.
Day 2 Hanoi City tour (B, L)
Accommodations: Maison D’Hanoi Hotel
Sites visited: Ho Chi Minh Complex, Hanoi Hilton Prison, Hanoi’s old quarter. unique Water Puppet show Today, we have an easy day to discover the charm of this city. We start our city tour by visiting Ho Chi Minh Complex, which includes His Mausoleum, the Presidential palace, His House on stilts and the One Pillar pagoda. After that we go to the Hanoi Hilton (the prison where American pilots were incarcerated when their aircrafts were brought down during the war) followed by a visit to the Temple of Literature. Next follows an hour tour on a Cyclo (a pedal rickshaw) to see how bustling and vibrant of the old quarter. In the evening we enjoy the unique Water Puppet show.
Notes:
Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum opening time: Open from Tuesday to Thursday and weekends from 8am to 11pm. Closed on Mondays and Fridays. The mausoleum is closed for two months of the year, usually October and November, when Ho Chi Minh’s body is maintenance by Russian expert.
Day 3 Hanoi - Halong Bay (B, L, D)
Accommodations: Bai Tho Deluxe Junk Cruise
Sites visited: Halong Bay, caves After breakfast, we will head out for 3 hours drive to Halong Bay. Upon arriving in Halong City, we will transferred to our deluxe boat for a cruise of the crystalline emerald waters of Halong Bay, giving us the chance to take in the stunning scenery of this World Heritage Site. For 2 days, we will be served a sumptuous fresh, local seafood lunch followed by a swim, cave exploring, Tonight we will stay over night on our Junk (share Junk boat with other people).
Day 4 Ha Long Bay – Hanoi (B, L)
Accommodations: Bai Tho Deluxe Junk Cruise
Sites visited: Hallow cave, Halong bay Start a great day with a refreshing swim and a good breakfast when the sun is rising from the Bay. In the morning we take an adventure by kayak to explore other beauty region of the bay. We’ll have lunch before return to the main harbor and drive back to Hanoi.
Day 5 Hanoi - fly to Hue (B)
Transfer via: Vietnam Airlines
Accommodations: Green Hue Hotel At leisure in Hanoi before transfer to Noi Bai airport to take a short flight to Hue. Up on arrival in Hue, we are met and transferred to the hotel. In the afternoon we start with a visit to the Citadel, containing the Imperial City and the Forbidden Purple City, the Emperor's private residence.
Day 6 Hue (B, L)
Accommodations: Green Hue Hotel
Sites visited: Today we will cruise a long the Perfume River on a Dragon boat to visit the Thien Mu Pagoda and Tu Duc Tomb. To round off the day's activities, we will visit one of Hue’s many fine restaurants to sample some of the local delicacies.
Day 7 Hue – Hoi An (B)
Accommodations: Thuy Duong 3 Hotel
Site visited: Hai Van Pass, Hoi An Today, we continue south by road to Hoi An. The scenery en route is beautiful as we hug the coastline of the East Sea before winding our way up the spectacular Hai Van Pass. The journey takes about 4 hours. In the afternoon, we will have our first glimpse of Hoi An with orientation walking around the old quarter of Hoi An.
Day 8 Hoi An free day (B)
Accommodations: Thuy Duong 3 Hotel
Site visited: Cooking lesson, villages Hoi An, formerly know as Faifo to early Western merchants, is a charming, small town which can be easily explored on foot. More than any other place in Vietnam, Hoi An retains the feeling of centuries past and is a favorite with all travelers. We can spend our time walking around the historic town soaking up the atmosphere or head off on a scenic ride to Cua Dai beach, about 4 km away, stopping along the way at some of the neighboring villages. There's even the chance to improve our culinary skills with a Vietnamese cooking lesson! Or find a good tailor for making clothes... One thing is for sure - there is no shortage of things to do in this town!
Day 9 Hoi An – Fly to Nha Trang (B)
Accommodations: Hoang Dang Hotel
Site visited: Oceanography, Museum, Cham Temple Transfer to the airport for a short flight to Nha Trang. Meet with our guide and transfer to our hotel. We spend the afternoon visiting the Oceanography Museum and Cham Temple.
Day 10 Nha Trang (B)
Accommodations: Hoang Dang Hotel
Free at our leisure at the beautiful beach.
Day 11 Nha Trang – Mui Ne (B)
Accommodations: Phu Hai Resort Check out the hotel, we continue travel to south by our own transportation, on high way number one to Mui Ne and check in at our resort. free time in the afternoon to enjoy relaxing, playing and swimming on the beach
Day 12 Mui Ne (B)
Accommodations: Phu Hai Resort Today there are no activities included, free whole day to enjoy the sun, sand and sea
Day 13 Mui Ne - Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Accommodations: Sapphire Hotel Departing Mui Ne this morning, we head to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). It is around 3 hours drive. We arrive in Ho Chi Minh City just before lunch and check in to our hotel. Free time at leisure in the afternoon.
Day 14 Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnel (B)
Accommodations: Sapphire Hotel
Site visited: Cu Chi tunnel, Suoi Tien Water Park Today we take a half day trip to Cu Chi Tunnels and explore the complex maze of tunnels built during the American-Vietnam war. Discover the various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500 pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers. In the afternoon, we have the choice of free time or we can arrange a trip upon request to the Water Park, History Museum or the magical and whimsical Suoi Tien Park!
Day 15 Depart Ho Chi Minh City (B)
At leisure until transfer to the airport for our departure flight from Vietnam.
