From Co Ly markets travelers will take boat ride long the river of Chay, enjoy sightseeing man and natural landscape long the river’s bank, short break to visit ethnic minorities of Tay.

Itinerary

Day 1 (SUN) Hanoi - Lao Cai - Train
We will be met at the lobby of the hotel and transferred to the Hanoi Railway station. The train will depart Hanoi at around 22:00. We spend the night on a 4 soft sleeper berth cabin with A/C train.

Day 2 (MON) Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van - Sapa (B, L)
Up on arrival in Lao Cai Railway station early in the morning we will be met by a local guide who will escort us to Sapa town. After checking in hotel, we enjoy our breakfast at the hotel restaurant and relax. Our tour will be started after that. We will embark on a lovely trek that will take us along buffalo paths and trails and though several hill tribe villages, Lao Chai and Ta Van, home of the black H’mong and Dzay ethnic minority people. This is an absolutely spectacular walk through stunning scenery inhabited by some of the friendliest people we can meet. Once on the valley floor we can really appreciate the wonderful scenery that surrounds us. The walls of the valley are covered with multi-layered rice terraced fields and scattered villages. Return to Sapa by our waiting vehicle.

Day 3 (TUE) Coc Ly Tuesday market - Lao Cai (B)
We have our breakfast at the hotel then check out. Our trip today is going to the Coc Ly, Tuesday market. It takes us 2 hour driving from Sapa but the view on the road seems to make the time shorter by the typical splendid in the Northwest of Vietnam. Coc Ly is a small but very colorful market, where the Flower H’mong ethnic minority people gather to exchange their homemade products. After that we will take a boat trip on the river with beautiful mountains on both sides. On the way we will have a short trek to Trung Do village (Tay). This is a unique opportunity for us to see the traditional lifestyle of tribal minorities and their costumes and handicrafts. Then we drive back to Lao Cai for the night train to Hanoi.

Day 4 (WED) Hanoi
Up on arrival in Hanoi very early morning, we transfer back to our hotel.
