We seriously challenge ourselves with the goal to deliver an experience beyond the expectations of our clients, each and every time. Often the difference between an 'okay' and 'excellent' trip is a collection of 'little things' that come together to create a truly amazing trip.
We understand that the tour guide/s or tour leader/s always play very important role for overall enjoyment of the trip. They are the one who are indirect contact with our clients on be haft of Viet Vision Travel. Many visitors to Vietnam will have more contact with the guides than any other individual during their travels.
We have a team of professional tour guides. They are not only good at English (or other languages), but also have a profound knowledge of Vietnam, Laos or Cambodia. All the guides employed by Viet Vision Travel are very well trained and all have Tour Guide Licenses issued by the government. To our tour guides, guiding is not merely a job but rather a good opportunity to introduce their countries to people from all over the world so they are professional, responsible, gracious and patient.
Qualities of Tour Guides?
All of our guide must pass the Tour Guides examination (for foreign languages, culture, history...and tour guide skills) and having a Tour Guide License which issued by Vietnam Administration of Tourism.
How Our Guides Get Paid?
At Viet Vision Travel, we believe that everybody deserves a fair deal and traditionally guides and drivers have depended on tips and commissions as their sole source of income.
We have been moving towards a better, fairer system for a number of years and have now introduced a system where we pay the guides and drivers a fair tour fee and bonuses based on their performance in each tour. We train our guides from a pool of guides who meet the high standards that we have set.
We ensure that they are fairly paid for their services. Scores and comments on the Feedback Forms are used to access the bonuses that are paid to the guide and driver above their base salary.
There should be no pressure from the guides for any other payments or to buy from any particular shop. Of course, we realize that some people may like to tip their guide and driver for outstanding service, but this tip is then a tip in the true sense, and not their sole income.
Who are your tour guides?
We have two types of tour guides:
National guides (Tour leaders):
Those are more experience and normally they will go along with the group (at least from 6 people on wards) from beginning of the trip to the end (Covers: North, Center and South of Vietnam and sometimes to Laos and Cambodia). They are very knowledgeable, experienced and enthusiastic. And they join the group for any activities and make sure that all things go under controlled. They are must be at least 6 years experiences to be a tour guide before training to be a tour leader. In some ways they are leaderships and very determine to make a decision when needed
Regional guides (Tour guides):
Those are less experience than a tour leader/s (does not mean that they are not good) and normally the tour guide will go with the small group or individual travelers for North, South or Center of Vietnam. For some days or may be just in one day. They are young, enthusiastic and well trained. Their profound insight into local culture of the very regions we travel through and their ability to speak a foreign language enhances the trips and helps the tourist understand the real culture of the place they are visiting. Sometimes the national guides could be regional guides.
We strongly believe that local people rely on the benefits of tourism, particularly as many of our tours operate through poor regions and remote places.
Our operational staff's mobiles are on 24 hours, 7 days a week, so we can willingly sort out any problems that may occur on tour.
